February 2026 Monthly Edit
What I've been reading, what I'm eyeing, and what I'm looking forward to this month
Happy February from snowy North Carolina.
January was a doozy — the last two weekends have been great for hibernating with the winter weather, and it solidified my approach to January this year. I wanted to ease in to the year instead of feeling like I needed to have everything organized.
That said, January included a belated annual trip to Mast Farm Inn in Valle Crucis, birthday meals with friends, and quality time with my loved ones. Admittedly, January has been a hard time to be a history major who pays attention to politics and the news. I have previously mentioned that I read Heather Cox Richardson’s Letters from an American daily on top of listening to podcasts and reading reports from independent journalists.
February is full of fun things, including attending an annual Galentine’s Party, home projects, and two different media trips: one that includes the doggos and another to experience a historic hotel.
I am excited for a short month, the opportunity to celebrate relationships, and continuing to refine boundaries and routines.
Cheers to having a great month!
xx, Meghan
